Today, Sutherland Transport is one of the biggest road transporters operating out of the Port Elizabeth area. From our Head Office and Workshop infrastructure in Perseverance, in the Nelson Mandela Metropol Industrial area, we maintain and operate a large fleet of vehicles, turning around between 15 and 20 vehicles each day on the PE Gauteng route alone, as well as the Durban and Cape Town legs.   We are a highly diversified, intercity road transporter that has developed its expertise and services into specialised container handling, de-stuffing, warehousing and distribution.   Sutherland’s A.R.T.S capability allows us to offer customers everything from importation, logistics and warehousing, to distribution direct-to-showrooms and dealers, nation-wide. With our associate infrastructure, personnel and fleet capacity, Sutherland is able to offer more detailed distribution in both Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.
Our local collection & delivery 8-tonners operate from both facilities. Plans are also currently underway to establish an enlarged depot in Gauteng.
